Hope everyone is having an awesome weekend!!
4 of our Gracie Tampa members went down to
Coral Springs this weekend to compete in
Grapplers Quest.
As a team of 4 we took home 6 swords/gold medals,
5 silver medals, and 1 bronze!!
Key highlights that occured:
JAC Member Cliff “Monkey” Smith SUBMITTED
Jean Paul Lebosnoyani (one of the top youth grapplers in the world),
in under 1 minute with our infamous Mega Choke
in a heated SUPERFIGHT!!
Junior Leader Brian “Bullet” Mas won against
Brandon Snyder (The 2011 Florida State Champion)
in a very tough battle.
Bullet was able to stuff the shot
and secure the back to get his hooks and harness for
4 points for the win!!
I am very proud of the team and looking forward to NAGA in Tampa
on Saturday February 18th!!
Let’s all step up our training in these next few weeks!!
